Dear guests of Camping Walsheim,
Thank you very much for your interest in our campsite. Before you make a reservation, we request that you read the regulations.
1. Make a reservation.
1. A reservation (max. 6 people per camping pitch) can only be booked online.
2. You can indicate a preferred location via the reservation system.
3. Your reservation request will be processed within 12 hours, after which you will receive a confirmation with an (online) payment option.
4. Camping Walsheim reserves the right not to accept the reservation within 48 hours of the reservation date.
2. Payment terms.
1. 25% of the invoice amount must be paid within 7 days of the invoice date. The remaining 75% must be paid 4 weeks before the arrival date.
2. If payments are not made within the stated terms, the reservation will be cancelled.
3. If you make a reservation within 4 weeks before the arrival date, the entire invoice amount must be paid immediately.
4. Without a reservation, full payment is due upon arrival.
Cancellation rates at Camping Walsheim:
If you cancel within 7 days before arrival, you will pay 100% of the booking amount
If you cancel between 7 and 14 days before arrival, you will pay 75% of the booking amount
If you cancel between 14 and 21 days before arrival, you will pay 50% of the booking amount
If you cancel between 21 and 31 days before arrival, you will pay 25% of the booking amount
*If you cannot keep your reservation, there is no money back guarantee.
3. Pitches and layout.
1. A standard or XL pitch is for a maximum of 6 people and the guest may only place 1 car + caravan or tent, 2 motorcycles + 1 tent or 1 camper. It is permitted to set up an extra small tent (max. 2x2 m) at the applicable rate. The car may only be parked in the rented space. It is not permitted to park vehicles on (access) roads and/or in other (empty) places. One camping equipment is allowed per pitch. Due to the intensive use of our lawns, a plastic surface is prohibited and only air-permeable and air-active groundsheets/mats are permitted. If the lawn is damaged after departure, the costs of repair will be charged.
2. A tent pitch on the tent field is for 1 small (max. 2x2 m) 1 or 2 person tent per pitch, with a maximum of 2 people.
3. Electricity is available at the designated power points. Only approved power cables may be used. The operator accepts no liability in the event of a power failure. Charging electric or hybrid cars on the campsite is not permitted.
4. Changing your location yourself is not permitted.
4. Entering and leaving.
1. Arrival time is from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, departure time is no later than 12:00 PM. Barrier is closed from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
2. Tent field campers are allowed to drive onto the tent field for loading and unloading. Immediately afterwards you must park the car in the car park next to the campsite.
3. On the day of departure, the place must be free and clean before 12:00 noon.
4. The maximum permitted speed for vehicles of any kind is walking pace (5 km/h).
5. Visitors must always be registered at reception first and may only enter the campsite on foot.
5. Pets.
A maximum of two dogs are allowed per pitch. Dogs must be kept on a short leash at all times. Dogs must be walked outside the campsite.
6. Camping rest/time.
1. The camping rest time is from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. During this time, vehicles are not allowed on the campsite and music is not allowed. Visitors must leave the campsite no later than 10:00 PM. From midnight onwards people must be absolutely quiet.
2. Music is allowed during the day, but only at a volume that does not bother your fellow campers.
3. Only play ball games on our campsite's own sports field.
4. It is prohibited to fly drones on or over the entire site of Camping Walsheim.
7. Sanitary buildings.
1. We attach great importance to hygiene in our sanitary building. That is why we ask you to leave it as you would like to find it.
2. Children under the age of 8 only have access to the sanitary buildings when accompanied by an adult.
3. Smoking is not allowed.
4. The sanitary building is closed during cleaning. During cleaning, a second toilet location always remains accessible for both ladies and gentlemen.
5. Washing machines and dryer work on €0.50 coins. Please read and comply with the instructions for use.
6. The chemical toilets, the camper service station and sanitary buildings must always be left clean.
7. The camper service station is located in front of the barrier, only here water intake for campers is permitted. (€0.50 coins)
8. Open fire, BBQ, household waste, general camping regulations.
1. Open fire, in any form, is not allowed!
2. Barbecuing is only allowed with charcoal or briquettes and up to a maximum of 10 p.m. in the designated barbecue area near the tent field or in your own place free from the ground.
3. The environmental square contains containers for: household waste, glass, paper/cardboard and plastic. You must deposit your (household) waste yourself in the relevant containers (household waste in closed bags). It is not permitted to dump bulky waste (e.g. chairs, tables, awnings/(party) tents, electrical appliances, etc.) at the recycling center.
4. The environmental square is open from 8:00 am to 10:00 am.
5. The general camping regulations are posted near the sinks.
9. Water use.
1. The sanitary buildings are equipped with drinking water. We request that you use this sparingly and responsibly.
2. There are taps with spring water throughout the site next to the road. This is not drinking water but is used for cooking and rinsing. It is not permitted to use this as "play water" or to fill swimming pools. As a guest of camping Walsheim you have free access to the adjacent municipal swimming pool.
3. Washing vehicles/camping equipment is not permitted.
10. Finally.
1. Strict action will be taken against undesirable behavior. This may lead to removal from our campsite and termination of the agreement.
2. The management reserves the right to establish additional rules in situations not provided for in the regulations. These rules will be publicly announced and applied retroactively.
3. The management of Camping Walsheim accepts no liability whatsoever for theft and/or damage to property of third parties on the campsite grounds.
